Bolivia Trip

Wow! Words cannot describe this hunt. I hosted a group in early July to Los Palomas Lodimagege outside of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. We hunted doves and pigeons for four days in the vast agricultural region that was full of sunflower fields.

Travel was a simple overnight flight from Miami to Santa Cruz and it takes about seven hours. We were greeted by our outfitters wife and son who arranged all the transportation to the lodge on a nice new road. Lunch was waiting for us when we arrived at the most beautiful lodge you could ever imagine.

The fun began after lunch when we headed to the field for doves. In two hours I was out of the 500 shells they gave me to start with. I declined the offer for more and spent an hour watching my group have fun.

The next few days I shot at an easy 1000 rounds per day pace and was very happy with my performance of shooting nearly 80%. Jorge and his staff took great care of us and never missed any details. The food was wonderful and the house staff and bird boys waited on us like we were rockstars.

I will upload video and many pictures soon so stay tuned!
